Pet friendly vibe, super clean rooms, spacious king room, and friendly atmosphere made our stay relaxing. Alan, the owner, checked on us during the storm.

Single comfortable stopover

The motel is family owned and surprisingly clean. Alan, the owner, was really attentive, came around and made sure everything was good especially during the storm.

It wasn't dirt cheap, but for what you get, can’t complain.

I stayed in a King Room, and the bed was super comfy. The room was clean but a bit worn. I did feel a bit uneasy about the lack of emergency exits.

staying here really enhanced my weekend getaway with easy access to cozy nest park and sunset park, both perfect for a relaxing stroll and enjoying the beautiful scenery around mount dora.

The shower water pressure was very low.

Nice staff and good wi-fi, but the room felt dated and needed some repairs.

can you believe the audacity of Budget Lodge? the shower was barely warm and the head was chin level, absolutely charming! the dust caked on the baseboards added a nice vintage touch, not to mention my expected complimentary upgrade that never came. I almost thought about giving a good review, but really. just couldn’t.

the staff were super welcoming and friendly, always checking on us. location's awesome, super close to everything. we even found some cool parks nearby for relaxing strolls.

We had a fun time exploring the nearby Country Club of Mount Dora with the whole family! The kids enjoyed the pools and got plenty of sun. Our room was spacious enough to fit all of us comfortably, making it a homey stay.

My wife thinks there should be more family activities available.

budget lodge is in a great spot, really close to downtown. the rooms were clean and the pool was well maintained. the management was super helpful and even the wi-fi worked great.

The location is less than ideal, necessitating a cross of multiple busy lanes to reach amenities. The shower delivers hardly lukewarm water, with a frustratingly low shower head making it awkward to use. Rooms are dated, with signs of wear in the furnishings and decor that clearly haven't been updated since the 80s.

Can just recommend for overnight stay

Basic room, basic amenities, but the outdoor swimming pool was refreshing and the 24-hour reception made check-in convenient for my late arrival.

The bed in the king room was soft and quite comfortable, ideal for a good night's sleep. The room was clean but showed signs of wear, requiring some updates. Unfortunately, the presence of cockroaches was a significant issue, and the owner didn't seem concerned when it was brought to her attention. Although the outdoor pool area was well-maintained, the overall experience was marred by pest problems that overshadowed any positives.
